Children Egg-cited to learn all about Free Range hens

The 27 children and 5 staff from Ripon Cathedral School year 2 enjoyed a fun and informative day at local family business Yorkshire Farmhouse Eggs based near Thirsk. The day was organised as part of their 'Big Idea' project in which the children learn all about hens. Although, the school already has 2 resident hens the visit to Yorkshire Farmhouse, home of James Potter Yorkshire free range eggs allowed the children to see the full cycle from the rearing, production, packing and final dispatch of the eggs.
